Studio Katja van Stiphout - graphic design has been based in Amsterdam since 1998. Katja van Stiphout (1974) graduated from the Sandberg Institute in Amsterdam after studying at the School for Art and Design ‘s-Hertogenbosch. Her work is characterised by a strong, simple language.
Designing identities, logos, posters, campaigns, websites, magazines, books and motion graphics are among her key skills. This website shows a selection of her work.
Since 2024 the studio houses a 100m2 cultural project space: K—space
Van Stiphout works mainly for the cultural sector, for and with artists. Her current and past clients include Theater de Meervaart, Toneelgroep Amsterdam, ICK Dans Amsterdam by Emio Greco & Pieter C. Scholten, Institute of Network Cultures / HvA, Jan Hanlo Essay Prize, Conny Jansen Danst / Via Berlin / Ragazze Quartet, DasArts / AHK, The National Ballet Academy / AHK (Amsterdam School of the Arts), NAPK, Kunstvlaai, MediaLAB Amsterdam / HvA, Virtual Museum Zuidas, Stedelijk Museum de Lakenhal Leiden.
In addition to her graphic design practice, Katja is a lecturer at various academies in the Netherlands and abroad, including Design Academy Eindhoven since 2018.
Studio Katja van Stiphout is located in Pakhuis Wilhelmina on the southern bank of the IJ in Amsterdam, close to Central Station and the Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ.
